Grand Snapana Tirumanjanam at Sri Kalayana Venkateswara Swamy Temple

Tirupati, 9 February 2018: As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram, celestial Snapana Thirumanjanam was performed on Friday morning after the Vahana Seva.

Chief Kankana bhattar Sri Balaji Rangacharyalu led the event which began with Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punaya havachana, Navalakashabisekam and Rajoparacham to the diety. Thereafter Chatra charama, darpana was offered with naivedyam, Mukha prakshanala, Dhupa naivedyam. Special offerings in milk, curd, coconut water, turmeric sandal paste.

The priests also chanted Tattariya Upanishad, Purusha suktam, Sri

Suktam, Nilasuktam, Pancha Shanti mantra, Divya Prabandha etc. Seven varieties of garlands were also offered which included special herbs, Tulasi, sampangi, chamanti gulabi, and others.
