Tirumala, 17 Feb. 18: Srivari Seva will be developed as a world class phenomenon in the area of voluntary service, asserted Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju.
A review meeting with all the major user departments was held in the camp office of JEO at Gokulam Rest House in Tirumala on Saturday evening.
The JEO directed the Srivari Seva HoD Dr T Ravi, HoDs of other user departments to come with a concrete assessment of Srivari Sevakulu to be deployed in the respective service areas. “In another two months time, Seva Gramam, the new seva sadan building which is coming up behind Kalyana Vedika at a cost of over Rs.80cr. Before that the assessment should be completed so that we can best utilise the services of Srivari Sevakulu”, he added.
He said, the Temple, Vigilance, Annaprasadam, Reception, Health and Kalyanakkata departments should give their reassessment report of deployment of Srivari Sevakulu. “Our vision is to develop Srivari Seva in a fair and professional manner. The intention behind introduction of 3-day and 4-day service is to get able bodied Sevakulu to render best possible services to pilgrims in different service areas”, he maintained.
