TTD JEo Inspects Trail Run of Srivari Theppotsavam

Tirumala, 22 February 2018: The Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the trial runs of the floats in the Swami Pushkarini in view of the annual Teppotsavam from February 25- March 1.

Speaking to media on the occasion the JEO said floats were fully ready for the celestial event. On the first day, Sita, Lakshman, and Anjaneya will accompany Sri Ramachandra murthy on the float. On Day-2 Sri Krishna Swamy will ride with Rukmini on the float. On the last three days, utsava idols of Sri Malayppaswamy along with consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi will ride on the float.

The floats will go three rounds on first three days, five rounds on Day-4, and 7 rounds on last day.

In view of the Teppotsavam, Vasantotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara seva scheduled on February 25, and 26 and the arjita Brahmotsavam, Vasantotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara seva on February 27,28 and March 1have been canceled.
