Indian Mothers are Symbol of Sacrifice - Speakers

Tirupati, 8 March 2018: Indian Women are a symbol of Sacrifice, Love, Affection, expressed the speakers.

The International Women's Day was observed with enthusiasm in SPW Degree and PG College in Tirupati on Thursday.

N Muktheswara Rao said women have the potential and patience to overcome all social evils with self confidence. He exemplified the women empowerment programme taken up with women who have settled in various fields when he was Collector in Nalgonda.

Speakers Dr K Madhujyothi, Head of Telugu Department wished the girl students who are the future women power of the nation to take up challenging fields like pilots of missiles etc.

While Diabetalogist Dr P Krishnaprasanthi enlightened the students on how to lead a balanced life both at home as well at work place.

Later Cardiologist Dr Vanajakshamma , renowned Veena expert Dr Kousalya, former DyEO KKC Smt Baby Sarojini were felicitated on this occasion.

Earlier in the morning cultural programs were performed which enthralled the students.  

DyEOs Smt Goutami, Smt  Snehalatha, Smt Kasturi Bai, Smt Varalakshmi, Smt Nagaratna, Medical Superintendent of Ayurvedic College Dr Parvathi, Principal of SPWDPG college Dr Ramani and others were also present.
