Tirumala is a Role Model Piligrim Centre for Cleanliness

Tiruchanoor, 27 April 2018: Describing the environs of Tirumala as clean and tidy, the Chairman of Parliamentary committee on sub-ordinate Legislation Dr T Subbirami Reddy said, Tirumala is a role model temple to all other centres.

After darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala and Goddess Padmavathi Devi in Tiruchanoor speaking to media he said, the solid waste management system is also best utilised in Tirumala. Out of 90 tonnes of waste 30 tonnes are being converted into manures and the remaining 60 tonnes for preparing cement", he maintained.
