Biodiversity responsibility of everyone - Governor Narasimhan

Hyderabad, May 22:    People should realise that Biodiversity and environment protection is not the responsibility of government alone but also of the people, said Governor Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan. Governor Sri Narasimhan participated as Chief Guest at the International Day of Biological Diversity, held at Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University at Rajendranagar, on Tuesday.  Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said farmers should be made partners in the biodiversity initiatives.  He said his appeal to the people, not as the Governor but as a common man to protect and safeguard the environment and biodiversity and ensure a liveable environment for the future generations.

Telangana State Minister for Forest and Environment, Sri Jogu Ramanna also participated in the programme.
