Governor bids farewell to retiring members at Raj Bhavan








Hyderabad, June 30:    Bidding farewell to Raj Bhavan Manager Namboodripad, his personal driver Syed Khader, Attendant Parvathi, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan said the officer and the staff members retiring at Raj Bhavan on Saturday, left an indelible mark through their unstinted service in the Raj Bhavan. Governor while appreciating the dedicated services rendered by his personal driver Syed Khader, who worked as a personal driver for seven Governors in the past 18 years, out of a total service of 40 years at Raj Bhavan,  said that for him Syed Khader's retirement was like losing his ratha saradhi.
Governor also bid farewell to Rajani Babu, who worked at Raj Bhavan as an Asst. Engineer and transferred to HMRL on promotion as Deputy Engineer. Governor said Rajani Babu is an excellent leader and team player, dedicated and hard working officer and supervised many important assignments at Raj Bhavan like renovation of Governor's residence, Secretariat building, Staff quarters, Raj Bhavan Govt. High School and Community Hall. Governor said the retiring officer, driver, Attendant and the officer who went on transfer by promotion, have all earned a name for themselves as they took ownership of their respective jobs at Raj Bhavan. Governor said the officers and staff members working at Raj Bhavan are part of a Pariwar and work like a single family.
Governor felicitated Manager Namboodripad, Driver Syed Khader, Attendant Parvathi and Rajani Babu, Dy. Engineer with Mementoes, shawls and tree plants.   
Harpreet Singh, Principal Secretary, Arjun Rao, Joint Secretary, M. Krishna, Dy. Secretary and Raj Bhavan officers and staff members have participated in the programme.
