Tirumala, 16 June 2018: More improvements will be made in the queue lines and permanent toilets will be constructed at different pilgrim centric places, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.
In the wake of unprecedented week end rush witnessed in Tirumala on Saturday, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected queue lines at Narayanagiri Gardens.
Later speaking to media persons, the EO said, In spite of the completion of summer vacation and the hill town is currently witnessing heavy week end pilgrim rush. The EO said, about 75% of pilgrims are opting for various formats of time slot darshans while the rest of 25% of pilgrims alone are waiting in queue lines and compartments. Even for them we are contemplating to make some arrangements by improving the queue lines and constructing additional toilets. We have already sanctioned Rs.26cr towards the overall improvement. We are also going to make some changes in the queue lines for the convenience of the pilgrims which will be ready by Vaikuntha Ekadasi", he added.
