Chakrasnanam Marks Conclusion of Annual Brahmotsavams in Appalayagunta

Appalayagunta, 1 July 2018: With the celestial Chakra Snanam on Sunday morning, curtains came down to the annual brahmotsavams at Appalayagunta.

Earlier, the processional deities and Sudarshana Chakrattalwar were rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam followed by holy dip, Chakrasnanam to Chakrattalwar.

In the evening, Dhwajavarohanam will be observed, where the traditional Garuda flag, hoisted on the temple pillar on the first day will be lowered amidst chanting of veda mantras marking the successful completion of the nine-day brahmotsavams.
