Hyderabad,
July 31: Governor of Andhra Pradesh
and Telangana Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan visited his alma mater Little Flower High
School at Chirag Ali Lane, Hyderabad on Tuesday. The Governor responded to the
letter written by Sanjana Pershad, a Class IX Student of the Little Flower High
School, requesting the Governor to visit the school and address the students.
Sanjana Pershad sought the presence of the Governor at the school on the
occasion of a theme event organised by the school every year and this year the
theme is 'Attitude of Gratitude'. As part of this exercise, the school had so
far expressed their gratitude to God, Grandparents, Montfort Brothers and on
July 31, her class decided to organise the event with the theme "Thank you
- Honourable Governor".
Governor
Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan enthralled the students by his presence at the school and
responded to their queries in a freewheeling conversation. When a student asked
the Governor that out of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which state was dear to
him, the Governor in turn asked the student which of his two eyes was dear to him,
he responded 'both'. The Governor then said you got the answer. Governor Sri
E.S.L. Narasimhan did his initial schooling in the years 1954-55 at the Little
Flower High School at Hyderabad.
