CJI Offers Prayers in Tirumala Temple















Tirumala, 18 Nov. 18: The Honourable Chief Justice of India, Justice Ranjan Gogoi on Sunday offered prayers in the Hill Shrine of Lord Venkateswara.

During his maiden visit in the capacity of Chief Justice of India along with his family, he was accorded Isthikaphal welcome on his arrival at the main entrance of the temple amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by veda pundits and melam band.

In the sanctum sanctorum he was explained about the importance of presiding deity and the jewels adorned to Lord Venkateswara. Later the Vedic scholars offered vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula mandapam.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, offered theertha prasadams and lamination photo of lord venkateswara to the top brass dignitary.

DGP of AP Sri RP Thakur, District Collector Sri Pradyumna, Dist Court Judge Sri. Junaid Ahmed Moulana,DIG Sri Kranthi Rana Tata, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Urban SP Sri KKN Anburajan, Reception Officials Sri Balaji, Sri Lokanadham and others were present.
