Exhibition Society eases the security hassles for visitors with latest technology

Hyderabad, December 27^th, 2018 : The Hyderabad's largest annual consumer exhibition, the All India Industrial Exhibition or Numaish, is all set to kick-off on 1st January, 2019 at Nampally Exhibition grounds. For generations of Hyderabadi's visiting Numaish has been an annual tradition. The most critical element of a crowd intensive event of this magnitude is to create a secure ambience and to ensure a hassle free security surveillance, for the families to have a whale of a time at their most cherished excursion.

The most irk-some part of the experience at the Exhibition, as per the past feedback has been the long and unending queues at the entrance due to Security screening. The earlier practice of body scanning individually led to this inordinate delay and left the visitors exhausted and despondent even before they entered the exhibition arena. To overcome the cumbersome security process and expedite the screening, the Exhibition Society has engaged the services of the Hyderabad based,Excel Security Services to deploy solutions which enable foolproof security and at the same make the visitor experience pleasant.       

As part of this Excel Security Services is deploying Twelve Zones Door Frame Metal Detectors, for the first time in the history of Numaish. These enable the Security apparatus to precisely pin-point the presence and exact location of any concealed metal or weapons on the body of an individual passing through the detector and makes that much easier to zero in on any foreign item. In fact the display by the detector is precise on the location of the object, including if it is on left, right or center of the person and if it is at ankle, knee, waist, chest or head height. The conventional mechanism indicated the presence of a metal object without identifying the precise location, which necessitated the security personnel to frisk each individual thoroughly. The entire thing was quite laborious and time consuming.

The new security apparatus enhances the overall experience of the visitor and permits the family to spend quality time together in the exhibition area. Our objective is to make the outing wholesome, fun filled and memorable, says Mr Ravi, Internal Security Convenor, Exhibition Society.

Multi-zone DFMD enhances screening efficiency by manifold and cuts on operating costs. While for the visitor, he can pass through the detector without the inconvenience of having to empty his pockets of key chains, coins, harmless objects etc., says Mr. C Bhaskar Reddy, CMD, Excel Security Services and President, Association of Private Security Agencies - Telangana & AP.
