Republic Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour by TTD














Tirupati, 26 Jan. 19: The 70th year of Republic Day was celebrated with utmost religious fervour on Saturday in the parade grounds of TTD.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal who hoisted the National flag offered salutations and remembered the sacrifices of great leaders who brought independence to India and achieved Republican status to the nation on January 26 in 1950

In his speech, EO wished all the employees to dedicate themselves in pilgrim service. Some excerpts of his speech-

* TTD has successfully organized twin brahmotsavams, Vaikuntha Ekadasi last year with the team work of employees, security, srivari sevakulu and scouts. 

* To spread Venkateswara Bhakti cult TTD has constructed Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at a cost of 34.60 crore at Kurukshetra in Haryana which was opened on July 1 in 2018 onwards.

* Bhukarshana event for Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple which is coming up at Amaravathi, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh at a cost of 150 crores on January31st morning between 9.15am and 9.40 am in Meena Lagnam.

* The vigraha pratistapana of Srivari temple and Sri Maha Ganapathi temple built at a cost of25 crore at Banjara Hills Hyderabad is slated for opening on March 13 this year 

* In Visakhapatnam the construction works of Sri Venkateswara Divya Kshetram are underway at a cost of7.90 crore.

* TTD has taken up the construction of Srivari temples in tribal agency belt of Seethampeta in Srikakulam District, Parvatipuram in vizianagaram District and Rampachodavaram in East Godavari District at 13,50 crore.

* TTD has also prepared a master plan at 100 crore to develop the historic and ancient Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Vontimetta in Kadapa District.

* Rs.26crores spent to construct toilets in Tirumala

* A 2000 room capacity accommodation is coming up at Rs.112cr near Alipiri which will be completed in four phases.


*Twin buildings for Srivari Sevakulu at Ra.98cr got ready in Tirumala

* A massive PAC at Tiruchanoor is also set ready for opening at Rs.74.70cr

* Another PAC to meet the needs of pilgrims coming to Tirumala is in offing with an estimated amount of Rs.79cr

* Rs. 1042.63cr accumulated in SV Anna prasadam Trust in the form of donations. The donations received for the financial year 2018-19 is 104cr.

* Similar to Tirumala temple, online booking of Arjitha Seva tickets was commenced in local temples of TTD which is garnering good response from devotees
