Tirumala, 10 Jan. 19: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Thursday reviewed on the progress of ongoing engineering works at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala.
Later speaking to media persons he said, the engineering works are taken up considering two components, one for the festivities and another on permanent basis.
While the construction of toilets, barricades, queue lines at different places facilitated pilgrims to have hassle free darshanam during twin brahmotsavams and Vaikuntha Ekadasi last year, the other works have been taken up on a permanent basis, he added.
Today we discussed in length about the major civil works which are under progress including the 3rd Phase Outer Ring Road, queue line in Narayanagiri Gardens at Rs.23crores, Queue line from Alwar Tank Rest House to MBC circle, PAC 5 at an estimated cost of Rs.70crores, beautification works of Pushkarini to enhance religious fervour, etc.
He said all the works will be completed within the designated time.
