Astabandhana Balalaya Mahasamranam at Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy Temple in Tirumala

Tirumala, 27 Mar. 19: TTD plans to perform the Astabandhana Balalaya Mahasamproksham, a holy Vaikhanasa Agama ritual in all Vaishnava temples 

at the Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple in Tirumala from April 23- 27 with Ankurarpanam on April 22.

According to legends Sri Varahaswami is given priority by pilgrims for first darshan ahead of Lord Venkateswara. The famed ritual is performed to rejuvenate the divine charm and the linking of the idols with the Padmapeetham in the sanctum sanctorum.

On April 23, Kalakarshana, April 24 and 25 Visesha Homams, April 26 Maha shanti Purnahuti and on April 27 Maha Samprokshanam will be performed.
