Captain Marvel










When the entire sub-continent is in awe of the Avenging, Skying and Marvelling heroes, The entire premise of Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai looked befittingly like the season’s most glittering red-carpet event as the most celebrated icons of Indian Cinema - were present for the Pre-Release event of Marcel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL. With the entire universal film buffs curiously awaiting the arrival of the majestic Super Hero, which is going to be first of its kind stand-alone, female-franchise for all and that’s all due to the mightiest showpiece of CAROL DANVERS aka CAPTAIN AMERICA from March 8, 2019. 
 
Mr. Bikram Duggal, Head - (Studio Entertainment Disney India ) said, “We have already made  20 films in Marvel Cinematic Universe and we are really happy to see the wonderful scenario down the south. Marvel has always remained so close to everyone for the theme of humanity, fighting down the evil and saving the world. Womanhood is the most strongest inspiration and we have four versatile ladies who are cinematic super powers  -Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Samantha Akkineni and Tamannaah Bhatia.” He totted up his speech giving a spearing Goosebump saying that the Captain Marvel After-Credits will have a link to AVENGERS END GAME. 

Actress Rakul Preet Singh said, “The power of womanhood is signified colossally through the character of Captain Marvel. I am exhilarated with each and every shot of this film.”

Actress Samantha Akkineni said, “While watching the trailer itself, we get so much power in ourselves and that’s what I admire about Captain Marvel.”

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia said, “When I look into her eyes (Captain Marvel), she looks vulnerable, but when her powers are unleashed, it’s literally exciting. This is what I love about her.”

When it was time to give out the opinions on who could befittingly awesome with Marvel Super Heroes from our Tamil industry, Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal opined Actor Vijay would look perfect for the role of Iron Man as he has a swag and sense of humor and Suriya was proposed by Rakul Preet Singh. Tamannaah uttered that Mahesh Babu would look outstanding as THOR and Kajal Aggarwal cited that Ajith Kumar is tailor made for THOR THE DEMI GOD. Actor lSuriya was commonly proposed by all the ladies for the role of CAPTAIN AMERICA. 

The brilliant and sparkling ladies were asked what would be their mission if they woke up as Captain Marvel one day. 

Rakul Preet Singh said, “Obviously, it would be ambushing terrorist at a single go.”

Actress Tamannaah - “Growing up as everyone, we all wanted World peace and this is not just about me, but everyone, which is desperate need.”

What if Thanos is to be killed and what super-power would these ladies want, Kajal instantly said, “I would shoot out protons from my hands and kill him.”

Guess what all these ladies told when they were asked which Indian Super Hero they would like to send to Hollywood and they uttered, “BAAHUBALI”.  

Summing up with the occasion, the actresses sent out the message. Rakul Preet Singh said. “Each and every woman out there, there is no need to celebrate Women’s Day separately. Womanhood is something to be celebrated each and every moment.”

Actress Samantha said, “Every woman has an inborn strength during deplorable situations, whereas Men crumble. This is the greatest power of a woman. So woman by nature are completely endowed with these gifts. 

Actress Tamannaah said, “Don’t forget the resilience and power within you. So don’t forget the power within you.”

The occasion winded up with these beautiful ladies clicking selfies. 

Brie Larson will be seen in the remarkable and iconic role of Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers while others in the star-cast comprises of Samuel L Jackson, Ben Mendelssohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pack Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan and many more prominent actors. 

Scheduled for release on March 8, the film  is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, which has story written by Nicole Perlman, Joe Shrapnel & Anna Waterhouse. It is worth mentioning that Ryan Fleck happens to be the first ever female director in the franchise of Marcel Cinematic Universe.
