Lord as Badri Narayana at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 2 Mar. 19: On 7th day morning of Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, Lord rode on Surya Prabha Vahanam in Badri Narayana alankaram.

As caparisoned elephants, bhajan mandalis, Kolata troupes formed his entourage; the lord blessed the devotees on the four-mada streets in the sultry Saturday morning. The Surya Prabha Vahanam signified the co-existence of all life beings with Sun god as fulcrum and Lords riding such a vehicle denoted his command on the universe.

Earlier the utsava deities were given holy Snapana Tirumanjanam in the morning and in the evening will be accorded Unjal seva before the colourful Chandra Prabha Vahanam at night.

On the Day 8 of the Brahmotsavams, grand Rathotsavam will be in the early hours of March 3, Sunday.

Temple DyEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, AEO Sri Lakshmaiah, Suptd Sri Muni Chengalrayulu, Temple Inspector Sri Anil and others took part.
