Tirupati, 15 Mar. 19: To provide moral education apart from regular academics, TTD will contemplate conducting Subhapradham, the summer training camp for children in overseas too, said, Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham.
While answering a NRI devotee Sri Satyanarayana from Dallas of America who suggested JEO to train the NRI youth also in Hindu Sanatana Dharma during the maiden phone in programme, "Bhaktulato Bhavadeeyudu" which was held in his chamber in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO said, the suggestion is well taken as Youth is the trustee of Prosperity. We will negotiate and let you know soon", he maintained.
Another pilgrim caller, Sri Naveen Kumar Reddy brought to the notice of JEO about the non allocation of the dormitories in the newly constructed TTD Rest House at Penchalakona and at Tiruchanoor. He also sought JEO about the status of enquiry on missing crowns at Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati, for which the JEO replied, the rest house will soon be opened both at Pechalakona and in Tiruchanoor. While the police are carrying out full fledged enquiry leaving no stone unturned sending their teams to various areas. Recently we have placed RFID sensors in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple which provides double security check to the jewels. We have also started "Sada Samarpana" register in all local temples for proper accounting and verification of jewels", he answered.
Another caller Sri Jagannadha Reddy from Tirupati sought JEO to revive pujas to UmaBrihadeeshwara statue located at Alipiri besides replica temple of Lord Venkateswara. While Sri Sai Kishore suggested JEO to improve soft skills among TTD security and employees while dealing with pilgrims. Responding to these callers, the JEO said, the staff will be given training in SVETA on communication skills. He also said, the puja will be revived to the structure of Uma Brihadeeshwara located near Alipiri.
Renowned playback singer Sri Mano from Chennai, Callers from Vijayawada Sri Siddhartha, Sri Ashwin Kumar and Sri Nagabhushanam wished JEO that all the sectors like Dharma Pracharam, educational institutions, hospitals of TTD thrive under his supervision.
Retired employees of TTD Sri Chengal Reddy and Sri Venkateswarulu sought JEO to protect TTD properties and house sites from illegal encroachment to which JEO assured the issue will be taken care of.
Smt Gayatri from Tirupati brought to the notice of JEO about the ruthless parking charges in Tiruchanoor to which he replied that at present parking area is under the purview of Panchayat department. "The master plan is on chords. Very soon the parking problem too will be sorted out", he maintained.
The first of its kind of phone in programme witnessed 14 callers from across the globe giving their suggestions towards the improvement of TTD rest houses and sub-temples in Tirupati.
CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE Sri Ramesh Reddy, SE Electrical Sri Venkateswarulu, Deputy EOs of various temples, reception wing, AVSOs and others were also present.
