Tirupati, 18 Mar. 19: TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal directed the officials to spread awareness about the availability of additional Laddus among devotees who throng Tirumala shrine.
During the senior officers review meeting in the Conference Hall in TTD administrative building on Monday in Tirupati Sri Singhal said special counters were set up within the laddu counter complex and the devotees should be informed about this by erecting flex boards.
He also instructed the engineering officials to put up more colourful arches with spiritual connotations at the main thoroughfares of Tirumala.
As the summer vacation is approaching, he asked the officials to coordinate with the Corporation officials to ensure non stop water supply to Tirumala during summer.
The EO also wanted the officials to complete the task of planting green saplings on the outer ring road by April 15 and the laying of underground cables in Mada Streets by end of May.
The EO also suggested that that display boards are put up at significant locations of Tirupati to appraise TTD news to locals etc. He also wanted the streamlining of Saptagiri magazine subscription so that more devotees are benefitted.
He also directed that the supervisory staff and the senior TTD officials should periodically inspect the Padi Kavali and Thiruvabharanam registers in the TTD local temples.
