Tirumala, 1 Mar. 19: TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal on Friday inspected the ongoing development works at Pushkarini and Narayanagiri Gardens along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti.
Later speaking to media persons he said, to avoid long waiting in queue lines of Narayanagiri Gardens by pilgrims under inclement weather conditions, TTD is constructing a permanent structure at Rs.23crores.
The EO who also inspected Swamy Pushkarini said that the new brass grills will be set up at Rs.4.5crores. He also said a Radha Mandapam will be constructed at Rs.1.5crores as per the suggestion of Agama Advisory Committee.
The EO said, the entire process of Astabandhana Balalaya Mahasamprokahanam performed to Srivari temple in August last will also be publised as a book for future generations. He also said the Mahasamprokshanam for Varahaswamy temple will be observed from April 24 to 27.
Earlier he also visited the new buildings of Srivari Seva Sadan.
NO DIVERSION OF TTD FUNDS
TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal on Friday clarified that not even a single penny from TTD coffers has been diverted to government works.
Speaking to media, the EO said, some people via social media spread a wrong news that the TTD coffers are been diverted for other works which is totally baseless and false.
Whatever dharmic works we are entitled to do, we have just taken up those works as per prescribed norms and guidelines, he asserted.
