Tirupati, 16 Mar. 19: TTD Joint Executive Officer, Sri B Lakshmikantham today inspected various TTD institutions and directed officials to take up repairs and welfare measures for benefit of students and devotee patients.
After inspecting the SV Deaf and Dumb school the JEO said steps were taken to provide good food and protected drinking water to inmates and directed officials to immediately take up repair works and resolve staff shortfalls .He also inspected the handicapped students trying centre where challenged students were trained as fitters and turners a d directed officials to provide sleeping cots. Developmental works of ₹1.1 crore were taken up at the Sri Govindaraja swami hostel.
After inspection of the SV Ayurveda hospital the JEO said an additional out patient ward was being proposed to meet the popular demand of patients. He also urged officials to ensure hygiene and cleanliness in the hospital.
At the TTD call centre he said devotees were given correct information on a 24x7 basis on time slots available for sarva darshan, Divya darshan etc. The devotees were advised to give suggestions and grievances, through email, call centres or through Whatapp numbers.
TTD SE-1/Sri Ramesh Reddy, CMO Dr Nageswar Rao, DyEO Smt Bharati and additional health officer Sri Sunil Kumar and officials of concerned departments participated.
