Tirumala, 5 Apr. 19: TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal on Friday said that a sum of ₹507 crore has been deposited in the TTD corpus fund for the financial year 2018-19.
Speaking to media after the Dial your EO program the EO said the reports in the social media were baseless and said that it was a quantum jump of ₹206 crore as against deposit if ₹301 crore during the financial year of 2017-18.
He also detailed the contributions made to TTD hundi and the other trusts which also made a decent increase.
Hundi collection in 2018-19 was ₹1214 crore as against ₹1147 crore in 2017-18.
During 2018-19 the SV Anna Prasadam Trust got ₹140 crore as against ₹127 crore during 2017-28.
The BIRRD Trust received ₹21 crore in 2018-19 as against ₹11.80 crore in 2017-18.
The S V Sarva Shreya trust got donations of ₹10.40 crore as against ₹7.88 crore of previous years.
The SV Vidya Dana trust received ₹11.37 crore in 2018-19 as against₹8.92 crore in last fiscal.
FOREST FIRE CONTROLLING MEASURES BY TTD
The Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said effective steps were under way to contain the forest fire in the Seshachala forest range in consultation with AP govt and TTD forest officials the TTD has erected massive forest fire lines in the TTD forest belt and entire staff is kept on full alert to handle any eventuality.
