Ankurarpanam Performed in Sri Kodandarama Swmay Vari Temple

Tirupati, 2 Apr. 19: As the annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati are set to commence from Wednesday on wards, the festival of prelude, Ankurarpanam was performed in the temple on Tuesday evening.

After Vishwaksena Puja, Mritsangrahanam and Beejavapanam ceremonies were observed by the temple priests as per Vaikhanasa Agama between 6.30pm and 7.15pm.

Dhwajaroahanam will be observed on Wednesday in the auspicious Mithuna Laganam between 10.30am to 12 noon. The important days during the nine day annual brahmotsavams includes Pedda Sesha Vahanam on April 3, Garuda Vahanam on April 7, Radhotsavam on April 10 and Chakrasnanam on April 11.
