Grand Asthanam of Sri Govindaraja Held on the Occasion of Annamayya Vardhanthi

Tirupati, 4 Apr. 1: As part of ongoing 516^thVardhanti of saint poet sri Tallapaka Annamacharya the holy ritual of Asthanam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy was observed on Thursday morning at Annamacharya Kala mandiram in Tirupati.

It is traditional event, the utsava murthies of Lord Sri Govindaraja and His consorts were brought in a procession from temple to Annamacharya Kalamandiram to participate in the saint devotees Vardhanthi celebrations. The utsava idols returned to temple in a procession later.
