Hamsa Vahana Symbolises Paramahamsa Swaroopa

Tirupati, 04 Apr. 19: On the Second day evening of the ongoing Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Thursday, the processional deity of Sri Kodandarama took celestial ride on the Hamsa Vahanam.

Hamsa, the divine swan has the unique quality of distinguishing water from milk which is the Pamahamsa Tatva as per Hindu Mythology.

The devotees often revere Rama as “Ramo Vigrahavan Dharmavaram”. By taking celestial ride on this vehicle, Lord preaches that He is Paramahamsa and He weeds out bad from good in the society.

Temple DyEO Sri EC Sreedhar and others were also present.
