In-Charge JEo Tirumala Inspects VQC Compartments

Tirumala, 7 Apr. 19: The JEO In-charge of Tirumala Sri B Lakshmikantham on Sunday inspected VQC 2, srivari temple, CRO and Kalyanakatta main on Sunday in hill town.

Later speaking to media he said, he has observed how the allotment process of rooms and checked the movement of lines at Vendi Vakili and Bangaru Vakili. He said he has instructed the officials concerned to include the information regarding local temples on display boards for the knowledge of the pilgrims waiting in the compartments about sub temples.

The JEO also said, the heads of respective departments were directed to prepare a video document about serving process in Anna prasadam without wasting food by staff and volunteers while serving to devotees, activity of tonsuring in Kalyanakatta and the system to be followed by pilgrims while releasing compartments. This video will be continuously displayed in the respective areas for better information of the pilgrims, he added.

The JEO also said, the festivals and important religious events like Ugadi, Srirama navami etc. are being telecasted on SVBC with their significance for better information of the devotees. Similarly the importance of fairs and festivals by TTD will be placed in TTD website for the sake of its 35 lakh registered subscribers across the globe, he maintained.

Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, KKC DEO Smt Nagarathna, EE 1 Sri Subramanyam, VGO Sri Manohar, Health Officer Dr.Sermista and others were also present.
