Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Performed in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Vari Mandir

Tirupati, 1 Apr. 19: In connection with annual brahmotsavams of Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy temple in Tirupati which will commence from April 3 onwards, the entire temple is cleansed on Monday by means of a traditional ritual, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam.

This fete has commenced at 6am in the morning and lasted till 9am where in the temple roof, walls, floor, puja vessels are cleansed with aromatic ingredients. The temple staff took part in this fete with great enthusiasm.

While the cleaning process is on, the mula virat murthies are covered with a veil. Darshanam commenced after 9.30am.
