Tirumala, 1 April 2019: The sacred seven hills in Tirumala reverberated to the melodious notes of Sapthagiri Sankeertanalu by various renowned artists of Annamacharya Project of TTD at hill town on Monday evening.
On the occasion of 516th Death Anniversary of the saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, the unjal seva of sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi was observed in Narayanagiri Gardens.
The artists rendered some of the famous sankeertans of saint poet apart from Sapthagiri Sankeertanalu including
Dinamu dwadasi, Bhavamulona, Brahma kadigina paadamu, Enta matramuna,
Podagantimayya mimmu purushottama,
Kondalalo nelakonna,Narayanathe Namo Namo, Muddugare Yasodha, Vedamule Nee Nivasamata Vimala Naarasimha and enthralled the devotees.

Sri Sri Sri Sriman Srivan Adivan Shatagopa Yateendran Swamy, the 46th pontiff of Ahobila Mutt said, with the blessings of Mahadesikan Yateendran Swamy, saint poet Annamacharya received 32 Beejakshara Mahamantropadesam and penned 32000 samkeertans in praise of Lord Venkateswara and also on Sri Narsimha Swamy. Now only a few thousands are remaining. I feel all the sankeertans should be brought in to light, he wished.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, the melodious rendering of Annamacharya sankeertans will provide a soothing feel and instills new energies among every one.
