Tirupati, 15 Apr. 19: The arrangements for the big fete, Sita Rama Kalyanam which will be.performed on April 18 at Vontimitta in Kadapa district are in place, said Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmi Kantham.

Reviewing with officials in the conference hall of TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday evening he said, there should not be any compromise on the facilities that are to be provided to a multitude of visiting pilgrims for the celestial occasion on that day at Vontimitta.

He said, 150 counters have been set up to distribute food with the help of srivari seva volunteers. Apart from this enough quantity of water and buttermilk packers are also kept ready to meet the needs of scores of pilgrims who turn up for kalyanam on April 18, he added.

LASER SHOW

After visiting Akshardham and observing laser show there, we are contemplating to have one such show at Alipiri,.He maintained. The JEO said, as a part of spiritual beautification of the temple city, a dozen Shankha-Chakra-Nama tower boards are coming up soon from Nandi circle to Alipiri circle. He said, said Sri Raman and Sri Dhamam projects are also in the offing to enhance spiritual feel in temple city, he added.

The interactive phone in programme, Dial your JEO named as 'Bhaktulato Bhavadeeyudu' will be held on April 26 between 8.30am and 9.30am, he added. 

Due to Vontimitta Brahmotsavams, this programme which is to be conducted on third Friday of every month has been postponed to the fourth Friday for this month. Devotees shall call 0877-2234777 and speak to JEO directly.
