Tirupati, 7 Apr. 19: Wearing the precious golden Garland's including Tulasi mala, Chandra haram and saligrama haram, Sri Ramachandra murthy sparkled on the glittering Garuda Vahanam on Sunday evening.
On the fifth day of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in Tirupati, one of the most important vahanams, the Garuda vahanam was observed with celestial fervour in the temple city of Tirupati.
All roads leading to the famous ancient temple are abuzz with pilgrim activity on this auspicious occasion. TTD had made elaborate arrangements in streamlining the pilgrim crowd with the support of Srivari Seva volunteers for the big day to avoid any untoward incident.
The display of arts, kolatam, different mythological character getup by artistes in front of vahanam enhanced the grandeur of Garuda Vahana Seva.
TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham, Additional CVSO Sri Siva kumar Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri EC Sreedhar and others were also present.
