Suryavanshi Rides on Chandraprabha

Tirupati, 9 Apr. 19: On the seventh day evening Sri Ramachandra Murthy took out a celestial ride on the finely decked Chandraprabha Vahanam.

As a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Tirupati, Sri Rama, the legendary king who attained divinity is from solar dynasty. He is often regarded as "Sri Rama Chandra Murthy" for his noble qualities. Hence the saying "Ramo Vigrahavan Dharmaha".

On Tuesday evening, Sri Rama seated atop Chandra Prabha Vahanam and blessed His devotees. The pilgrims had a chill-thrill feel at the very sight of the Lord in His pleasant form.
