All Arrangements to the Score of Visiting Pilgrims to the Maximum Level - TTD Incharge JEO
















Tirumala, 19 May 19: Unprecedented pilgrim crowd has been witnessed in Tirumala on Saturday with the serpentine queue lines spreading to Asthana Mandapam which are also continued till Sunday evening.

Tirumala In-charge JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham inspected the Sarva Darshanam Complex and line movement inside temple on Sunday. Speaking on this occasion, he said, every inch of Tirumala is occupied with pilgrims. All the departments are taking extra care to offer the best possible services to the pilgrims. On Sunday we are expecting that the pilgrim darshan figure to cross one lakh mark", he added.

During last night over 93 thousand odd pilgrims had darshan of Lord while the tonsuring figures crossed 51 thousands. From May 11 till May 18 almost seven lakh pilgrims had darshan of Lord. We are keeping special focus on food, milk,beverages, water distribution, sanitation and medical facilities to the pilgrims in this peak hour. 

Over 3000 sevakulu are rendering service in all the vital points round the clock in outside queue lines and VQC compartments and scouts inside temple. The Pilgrim Welfare Facilitation Service(PWFS) volunteers are deployed in all compartments to meet the grievances of the pilgrims if any and settle the issues informing the concerned departments without delay", he maintained.

The JEO also inspected Kalyani Rest House, Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex (MTVAC) to monitor the facilities.

SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, VSO Sri Manohar, Annaprasadam Special Officer Sri Venugpal, Health Officer Dr Sermista were also present.
