He was participating in the literary convention got up as a part of 611th Jayantyotsavam of Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya at the Annamacharya Kalamandir as Chief Guest on Monday.
Speaking on theme of Annamacharya sankeertana-Shringara Bhakti, he said keertans of Annamayya were embodiment of life circle of birth and death, Viswa roopa darshan of Lord Venkateswara, Divine beauty of Goddess Alivelu Manga alias Goddess Padmavathi. The saint poet had mesmerised the world by praising Lord as a "Romantic Hero" in Madhura Shringara Bhakti.
Dr CR Harinath of Mysore gave a splendid lecture Chandassu (a part of grammar in Telugu) in Annamacharya sankeertans and Dr Vijayalakshmi of Hyderabad spoke on Wordily knowledge embedded in Annamacharya keertans.
Later in the evening artists of TTD Annamacharya Project Sri T Madhusudana Rao and team and Sri Chaitanya brothers of Vizag presented sankeertans.
At the Mahati auditorium TTD Asthana Vidwan Dr Garimella Balakrishna Prasad rendered some versatile songs of Annamacharya which enthralled music lovers in the evening.
TTD Annamacharya project director Sri Vishwanath, AEO Smt V.R Shanti, Research assistant Dr C Lata and others took part.

Hailing from Machilipatnam Smt M Lakshmi and Sri Y Venkateswarlu from Tirupati presented devotional music and Harikatha ganam respectively at the Dhyana mandiram in Tallapaka
Similarly the TTD Annamacharya project artists Smt K Vishalakshi, Smt R Sushila presented sangeetam and drama by the Sri Kodandarama Kala Nataka mandali of Rajampeta.
