Hanuman Jayanthi in Tirumala on 29th May

Tirumala, 20 May 19: Another important festival which is observed in a grand manner in Tirumala is Hanuman Jayanthi which falls on May 29 this year.

TTD celebrates the festival of Hanuman jayanthi in a big way by observing special abhishekam to Bedi Anjaneya Swamy located opposite Tirumala temple and also to the mammoth statue of Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy located in the 7th mile on first ghat road.

TTD has also arranged special transportation facility for this fete on May 29.

Apart from these TTD run Hanuman temples, Hanuman Jayanthi is also observed in a big way at Japali Theertham and at Sri Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy temple in Tirumala also.
