Lord Srinivasa Weds Maa Padmavathi on The Auspicious Day of Vaisakha Sudha Dasami

Tirumala, 14 May 19: The second day of ongoing three day Parinayotsavams witnessed huge turn out of devotees since this happens to be the most important day.

As per the legend the wedding ceremony of Sri Padmavathi-Srinivasa lasted for three days. Commenced on the auspicious Visakha Navami, concluded on Ekadasi. The celestial marriage took place on visakha sudha Dasami, the second day. 

Earlier the Lord was brought to the Parinaya Mandapam situated in  Narayanayagiri Gardens on Aswa Vahanam while the Goddesses on separate palanquins.  

After vedic rendition, the Annamacharya keertans and Hari katha parayanam enthralled the devotees.

Incharge JEO of Tirumala Sri B Lakshmi kantham along with his spouse Smt Sobhalatha, DyEO Sri Harindranath, Garden DyDirector Sri Srinivasulu, Peishkar Sri Lokanatham and others were also present.
