Tirumala, 15 May 19: The grand ceremonious religious wedding ceremony of Sri Padmavathi-Srinivasa concluded in the Parinayotsava mandapam held in Narayanagiri Gardens on Wednesday evening.
The processional deity of Malayappa Swamy was brought to the mandapam on small Garuda Vahanam while Sridevi and Bhudevi on two different palanquins. After the completion of all traditional rituals of Hindu marriage the deities were seated on finely decked inka.
The entire premises of Tirumala reverberated to the rhythmic sounds of Veda Mantras by vedic pundits and swinged to the melodious tunes of Nadaswaram where the artistes rendered Gandharva, Deva Gandharva, Bhairavi, Hindustani, Madhyamavathi ragas followed by melam and keertans by Annamacharya project artistes.
Devotees were enthralled by the devotional vibrations.
Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Garden wing Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, Peishkar Sri Lokanatham and others were also present.
