Pushpayagam Performed in Kapilateertham Temple

Tirupati, 18 May 19: For the first time Pushpa Yagam was performed in the temple of Lord Shiva in Kapilatheertham in Tirupati on Saturday.

This holy fete was observed between 10am and 12 noon.

After offering snapanam to Somaskandamurthy, the deity was seated on a separate platform and the floral bath was rendered with tonnes of varieties of flowers by the Archaka Swamis chanting mantras as per Saivagama.

Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal who participated in the religious event said, in view of increasing pilgrims to all local temples of TTD, online quota of tickets for various sevas of the respective temples were introduced by TTD recently which is getting huge response from pilgrim devotees across the country.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Temple DyEO Sri Subramanyam, Garden Dy Director Sri Srinivasulu were also present.
