Tirupati, 17 May 19: The TTD Kalyana Mandapams will get a new look in a phased manner across the country soon, said, Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham.
Answering the live in programme during "Bhaktulato Bhavadeeyudu" in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO reacting to the query of Smt Hamsaveni, a devotee from Tirupati, who sought JEO to renovate and provide air-conditioning to Srinivasa and Padmavathi Kalyana Mandapams of TTD in Tirupati, to which the JEO said, it is already under process.
Another caller Sri Subba Rao from Nellore sought JEO to develop TTD Kalyana Mandapam in Nellore by personally visiting the place, to which JEO answered the problems if any will be addressed soon. He also said, on a pilot project TTD has taken up the renovation of five kalyana mandapams and soon all of them will be done in a phased manner.
A devotees Sri Narayana from Tirupati suggested JEO to allow direct entrance to the senior citizens who have crossed 75years of age in all local temples in Tirupati to which the JEO replied the suggestion is well taken and the management will look in to the feasibility of implementing it.
Smt Sukanya from Bengaluru brought to the notice of JEO the nonchalant attitude of staff in Srinivasam Rest House in Tirupati and not giving proper information to pilgrims to which the officer said they will be trained in communication skills and behavioural attitude by the concerned Head of the Department.
Sri Seshu Babu from Hyderabad complimented the JEO for making arrangements in providing hassle free darshan to 4.39 pilgrims from May 11 to 15 to which the JEO answered him that was possible with the team work put up by all departments in Tirumala.
CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SEs Sri Ramesh Reddy, Sri Sriramulu, Sri Venkateswarulu and other officers were also present.
