Tirupati, 21 June 2019: The TTD Joint Executive Officer in Tirupati Sri B Lakshmikantham said that TTD would roll out a unique training program on Sanatana Dharma for NRI kids residing at New York, Dallas, Kentland, Pittsburgh besides Bahrain and Muscat in Saudi.
Addressing his monthly phone-in program of Bhaktulato Bhavadiyudu at his chambers in TTD administrative building on Friday morning, the JEO said NRI children would be imparted month-long training program on Sanatana Dharma, Glory of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, spiritual and devotional customs and traditions, the importance of festivals, etc.
Responding to a query by Sri Jagdish of Vijayawada the JEO said TTD would examine a proposal to gift saplings of Tulasi, Bilvam, Usiri, and Maredu plants as Vriksha Prasadam to devotees but emphasized on green promotion by devotees also.
He responded to queries on TTD Kalyana Mandapam and TTD arches, medical college, overpricing in Vishnu Nivasam shops, health cards for TTD employees, and liquor and meat shops at the city entrance.
The JEO also replied favorably to questions from devotees on traffic jams in front of Srinivasam, the need for changes in timings of Kumkumarchana at Tiruchanoor temple.
