Reel Audio Launch

Films with good and unique contents have its reception at decorous levels irrespective of who the actors and technicians are. In particular, films featuring newcomers have offered a surprisal impact too. The entire team of "Reel" felt the same during the audio launch of this film.

Here are some of the excerpts from the audio launch.

Editor Sai Suresh said, "When I was signed to work for this film, I felt that it could be a small project, but as the time progressed I could see this as a really good one. It’s a feel good movie and I am sure everyone will love it."

Choreographer Nobel said, "The silent feature about the entire team of "Reel" has such an emblazoning energy and it was prevailing throughout the shoot. When I met Hero for the first time and understood his body flexibility and style, I could envisage and compose styles accordingly. Nevertheless, when I saw him on the shooting spot, the energy was completely different and he was amazing, ready to do anything. The production team was really good and supportive. The film depicts a beautiful love story that is based on true incidents."

Music director Santhosh said, "Basically, I am a guitarist and this is my first film in Tamil. Hope you will all enjoy the movie and I would like to work on more films out here. There are four songs in the film and they have been nicely shot. I am a big fan of Ilayaraja sir and AR Rahman sir and I want to continue my career here."

Producer Karu said, "Being an ex-army captain and I have had a great passion for art of writing. I made my debut in films through a Malayalam movie featuring Mammooty in lead role, which made him a good superstar. I wasn’t received well and decided to go ahead with my industry outside films. But my passion for acting kept me appearing is some movies and one among them was sharing screen space with Raghuvaran sir that unfortunately didn’t see the light. While decided to make this film, I was sure of having only newcomers as I felt that they need opportunity to showcase their potentials."

Special Guest Jaguar Thangam said, "I wouldn’t accept with producer said that almost all are newcomers as most of them have already unleashed their best spell in many movies across the years. The film "Reel" will denfiely succeed in box office. As a stunt director, I am happy to see that hero has done a fabulous job in stunts. I am really happy to see actors like RK Suresh and Vijay TV fame Gopi here though they are not a part of this film. The film is based on the real life incident that happened in Pollachi, which shook the nation. Reel will definitely bring up a good impact with message by the end."

Actor RK Suresh said, "I have been distributing movies for a span of 10 years and have come across many reigning producers who have lost their fortune and the heroes who had earlier worked with them must extend their helping hands towards them. I am also making my debut as a director with a movie titled "Calendar" that is based on adolescent love story and it’s completely comprising of newcomers. What I am trying to convey is that production team has to be careful while planning a project. Director of this film happens to be my family friend for years and today to see him as a filmmaker makes me elated. Malayalam cinema has been so much affectionate towards me. While working with Madura Raja, Mammooty sir was so much caring and supportive."

Vijay TV Sethu said, "It’s obvious that the entire film has an ensemble bunch of artistes and technicians from different regions and they are really talented that we can all sense and witness it from the visuals."

Cinematographer Venugopal said, "Only with the support of media alone, films like Reel will make a good reach. When a film becomes successful, it’s not just the producers, but around 200-300 families that are benefitted."
Actor Udhayaraj said, "I am thankful to producer and director Munusamy sir for believing in me and making me a part of this film. I hope and believe that people will accept our movie. We have done our best works on our part."

Director Munusamy said, "Just like many, I have also gone through the struggling days and finally met producer, who was impressed with the film’s plot and he asked me to narrate the whole story. I am happy that he is satisfied with our final output. Today, I am really emotionally happy that my long run dream of 20 years is coming true with this film.”
