Tirupati 25 Aug 2019 ; Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Sri LV Subramanyam today said that TTD would promote the S V Musuem at Tirumala as a beacon to enhance the devotional and spiritual experience for devotees at Tirumala.
Speaking to reporters after a review meeting with TTD senior officials- EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO Sri P Basant Kumar at Padmavathi rest house Tirupati
He said the TTD had decided to develop the priceless documents in custody of the Museum like Copper plates, plam leaf documents etc to bring out the rich traditions and practices of Srivari temple embedded in them .
SV MUSEUM AS A GUIDE TO DEVOTEES
He said TTD would develop the Sri Venkateswara Musuem to provide devotees a taste and glimps of spiritual elixir of glory of Sri Venkateswara devotees could visit the Musuem ahead of Srivari Darshan .He said devotees have to spend Six to 20 hours for darshan at Tirumala and hence the Musuem could give them a birds view of places to see like theerthams and temples on Tirumala .
He said in coordination with the SV Vedic University TTD planned to further explore the heritage documents in the Museum in a scientific manner to showcase the rich practices, traditions of Srivari Temple to devotees .
He said TTD has taken many steps in the past in that direction and the now also many new initiatives are underway to make Tirumala as the ultimate devotional hub and enhance the spiritual experience Of devotees .
ON RTC TICKETS ISSUE
The Chief Secretary said he also discussed the issue of RTC tickets with other religious messages and action would be taken against erring
RTC officials responsible for the lapse. He said a coordination committee of all departments would be set up soon so that such commercial advertisements should not hinder the Government policy against other religious propaganda at Tirumala.
