Enhance Luggage Counters in Tirumala During Brahmotsavams- TTD EO





Tirumala, 19 Aug. 19: TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal directed the officials concerned to increase the number of luggage counters in Tirumala for ensuing annual brahmotsavams to avoid the woes of multitude of visiting pilgrims for the mega religious fete.

The co-ordination meeting was held in the conference hall of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Monday. EO reviewed on various works which are under progress. He instructed that all the works for annual brahmotsavams should be completed within the stipulated time. He said, the officials should carry out regular inspections in Srivari Mettu and Alipiri footpath routes and solve the problems for walkers by.

The EO also directed the concerned officials to invite artistes from different states to perform before Vahana Sevas during annual brahmotsavams. Already 10 states have given their consent to take part in the festival", EO added. 

"All the engineering works in the four mada streets should be completed including the under drainage pipeline works in time. Similarly all the toilets should be inspected and get repaired if any before brahmotsavams", he maintained.

The EO also instructed the Forest and Garden wing officials to work with co-ordination in enhancing greenery at Sri Padmavathi Rest House areas and near road dividers. 

TTD Special Officer Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEO Sri P Basant Kumar, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, CE Sri Ramachandra Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
