Pavitrotsavams Commences

Tirumala, 11 Aug. 19: The three-day annual pavithrotsavams commenced on a grand religious note in Tirumala temple on Sunday. 

After the snapana tirumanjanam between 9 am and 11 am in Kalyanotsava Mandapam to the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy and Sridevi,  Bhudevi. 

Later in the evening, Pavitra garlands were decorated to the deities. 

TTD has cancelled all arjitha sevas. 

Special officer of Tirumala Sri AV Dharma Reddy,  Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath and others were also present.
