TTD Special Officer Meets Vegetable Donors

Tirumala, 17 Aug. 19: TTDs special officer at Tirumala Sri AV Dharma Reddy said that so far  ₹100 crore worth vegetables were freely donated by Vegetable donors since 2005.

Addressing a meeting of the vegetable donors at Annamaiah Bhavan on Saturday, the SO said daily 6-8 tonnes of fresh vegetables were freely given by them enhancing the quality and taste of Anna Prasadam being served to over 1.5lakh pilgrims.

He lauded the donors who were even hiring vehicles to supply vegetables and said TTD will organise vehicles for them in next two months. 

Donors Sri Kutumba Rao from Vijayawada, Sri S Chandran, Sri Thiagarajan from Chennai and Sri Rajendran from Thiruvur narrated their experiences in Srivari service. 

TTD marketing GM Sri Jagadeswara Reddy, Anna Prasadam special officer Sri S Venugopal, catering officer Sri GLN Shastri participated.
