We Need to Dedicate Ourselves in Pilgrim Service _ TTD EO

Tirupati, 15 Aug. 19: While wishing the 20 thousand odd strong work force of TTD comprising religious, non-religious, teaching, contract, out-sourcing etc.a Happy Independence Day, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal called up on the employees to rededicate themselves in the service of devotees.

During his address on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day at Parade Grounds in Tirupati on Thursday, the EO recalled hard earned independence to the country, which was an outcome of struggle of countless freedom fighters. Today is a sublime moment to pay tributes to all those who scarified their lives in getting us Freedom. It's time for all of us to step into their shoes to offer best possible services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala", he added.

EO stated that the strong work force of TTD is doing a lot of service to the pilgrims in terms of providing darshan, accommodation, annaprasadam, laddu prasadams, maintaining sanitation, providing security cover etc., to scores of pilgrims who throng Tirumala temple. But still lot to improvise in accordance to day by day increasing rush.

Later he also listed out the various development activities done by TTD. The EO along with Special Officer Tirumala Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEO Sri P Basant Kumar, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti gave away meritorious awards to 39 senior officers and also employees of various departments.
