Pavitrotsavam of Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple, Appalaya Gunta Begins

Tirupati, 25 Sep. 19: The holy ritual of Pavitrotsavam Of TTD local temple of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple of Appalayagunta commenced on Wednesday.

After morning rituals, Pavitra pratista was performed by ritwiks followed by snapana thirumanjanam for the utsava idols of Lord and his consorts. Later in the evening, they were taken out on Mada streets and vedika programs continued the yagasala.

Temple Superintendent Sri Gopalakrishna Reddy, archakas and others participated.
