Ankurarpanam Observed

Tiruchanoor, 22 November 2019: The festival of prelude, Beejavapanam or otherwise known as Ankurarpanam was performed with utmost religious fervour in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor on Friday evening. 

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal took part in this ritual.  Later speaking to media he said, all arrangements have been made for the nine day fete.  He said Ankurarpanam is the seed sowing festival seeking the healthy, prosperous and hassle free conduct of the mea fete. 

Meanwhile Mritsangrahanam, procession of Sri Vishwaksena were performed by the priests.
