Darshan Resumes in All Local Temples

Tirupati, 26 Dec. 19: The darshan resumed for devotees in all the TTD sub-temples located in and around Tirupati on Thursday after being closed for over 15 hours following the solar eclipse on Thursday.

All the TTD temples including Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor, Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Tirupati, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram and Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta were closed after ekantha seva rituals of the respective temples on Wednesday night.

After the completion of solar eclipse between 8:08 am and 11:16 am on Thursday, all the temples were re opened and Suddhi was performed as per the tenets of Agama Shastra. 

At Tiruchanoor, the darshan for devotees resumed at 3:15 pm while at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple by 2 pm,  Srinivasa Mangapuram by 3.30 pm and at Appalayagunta by 2 pm.
