Doors of all Local Temples Closes for Solar Eclipse

Tirupati, 25 Dec. 19: Ahead of the solar eclipse on Thursday, all the TTD local temples were closed on Wednesday evening after ekantha Seva of respective temples.

All the TTD temples including Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor, Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Tirupati, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram and Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta were closed after ekantha seva rituals.

After the eclipse period from 8.08 am to 11.16 am on Thursday the temples will be opened and Suddhi will be performed. After these traditional agamic cleansing rituals, the devotees will be allowed for darshan 

Sri PAT - closing: 9pm(25-12-19), Opening: 12 pm (26-12-19), Darshan: 3.15 pm.

Sri GT- closing: 9.30 pm (25-12-19), Opening: 12 pm (26-12-19), Darshan: 2pm.

Sri KRT- closing: 9pm(25-12-19), Opening: 12 pm (26-12-19), Darshan: 2pm.

SKVST- closing 8:30pm (25-12-19), Opening: 12.30pm (26-12-19), Darshan: 3.30pm

Closing 8pm (25-12-19), Opening: 12noon (26-12-19), Darshan: 2pm
