Solar Eclipse on 26th Dec

Tirumala, 23 Dec. 19: Tirumala temple to remain closed for nearly 13 hours on December 26 following Sampoorna Surya Grahanam. 

As the solar eclipse commences at 8.08 am and concludes by 11:16 am, as a tradition, the temple doors will be closed on December 25 by 11 pm itself and will be opened at 12noon on December 26.

After the suddhi and other rituals, the darshan will commence to the pilgrims only after 2 pm onwards.  TTD has cancelled VIP Break darshan including Protocol on that day in view of common pilgrims.

Even the serving of annaprasadam in MTVAC, food courts, compartments will also be stalled from 11pm of December 25 till 2:30pm of December 26. 

The devotees are requested to make note of these changes and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.
